  2. Your contact information.
  3. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material identified in (1) is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  4. A statement that the information in the notification is correct, and under the penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.
This notice must be sent to our designated agent, listed above.

Counter-Notification

If AlliedModders has notified you that content you posted on an AlliedModders site has been taken down due to a DMCA notification, you may file a counter-notification. This notification must contain the following details. For full formal requirements, see Section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA.

  • Identification of the material that has been removed, and the location at which it was posted.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material in question.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you constent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which AlliedModders LLC may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification under subsection (c)(1)(C) or an agent of such person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

This notice must be sent to our designated agent, listed above.

You may be able to find examples of a counter-notification online, such as here. This is not a substitute for legal advice. You should obtain legal advice to understand your rights and obligations under the DMCA and other applicable laws.

If, after forwarding a counter-notice to the party which filed the original DMCA notice, we may restore removed content after 10-14 days unless the original party notifies us of a court order against you.
